These are very trying days for those in the #Transgender community... especially youth. The Executive Director of Whitman-Walker Institute, Kellan E. Baker, had some great thoughts to share with SALON Mag. Transgender people are at a?higher risk of dying by suicide?than the general population?due to the discrimination they face?in schools, health care settings, and beyond.
