In addition to the 44,497-square-foot grocery store, the retail development features 12 tenant spaces spanning 19,500 square feet, all conveniently located at the corner of Blue Angel Parkway and Highway 98. The shopping center offers a modern shopping experience with a state-of-the-art pharmacy, bakery, deli, fresh seafood department and dining area. This marks our seventh Publix project, and we’re proud to continue building spaces that serve and grow local communities. Last week, we honored #WomeninConstructionWeek by celebrating the incredible women who help drive our success every day. From project management to estimating, safety and beyond, their impact is felt across every part of our business. To show our appreciation, we treated our women to brunch and a spa day at the historic Renaissance Mobile Riverview & Battle House Hotel & Spa—a project close to our hearts, as White-Spunner Construction restored this landmark in the early 2000s. We are proud to support and empower the women in our industry and grateful for their dedication to shaping the future of construction!

Cutting the ribbon to shape the future! Bishop State Community College recently celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated Carver Instructional Site! The site now features a culinary education wing with state-of-the-art kitchens and a bakery lab; a modern adult education wing with classrooms, offices and a testing center; as well as a versatile center wing offering a conference room, media center and computer lab. The newly designed classrooms incorporate interior storefront glazing, bringing in natural daylight and allowing visibility into classroom activities. The renovation also enhanced accessibility throughout the building with the addition of a seamless, continuous corridor. GMC provided architecture, interior design and civil engineering for the project, with MW Rogers as the general contractor.
