What if you had 30 minutes to build a startup idea... and then pitch a VC? Imagine this ?? You jump on a livestream. No preparation. No plan. Just your brain, a collaborative whiteboard, and 30 minutes to build a concept from nothing before pitching to a real investor who's waiting to judge your early creation. That's exactly what "Zero to Pitch" is all about, and I'm planning on launching this series with YOU. Here's how it'll work: 1??: My guest and I frantically build a business concept from scratch 2??: We pitch it to a real investor who has NO IDEA what we've cooked up (or burned) 3??: Throughout, the Live audience is throwing in ideas (or curveballs) It's going to be messy. There will be pivots. The slides will be rough (lol). And that's exactly the point. Maybe we'll all walk away with some learnings. Founders: Want to flex your creative muscles and build something wild with me on the stream? Drop a comment! Early Stage VCs: Want to be the judge and get some visibility with our audience? Let me know in the comments! I may also bring my AI friend Boardy to help us along the way. The ultimate sidekick. This is the show I've always wanted to watch. Real-time collaboration, actual ideation, and honest feedback from investors who aren't prepped with nice things to say. Who's in?

Too many high-achieving women are running on fumes. Juggling business, leadership, personal growth, while making it look effortless. But behind the scenes, burnout is creeping in. We grind. We show up. We run the world. And somewhere along the way, we stop asking ourselves what we actually need. The Women Wave Retreat is that moment to pause. Because here’s the truth... → You can’t pour into your business, your team, your personal brand or your life if your own cup is empty. → Leadership is strategy, it’s clarity, confidence, and feeling grounded in your own vision. → Success without fulfillment? That’s not the goal. At this retreat, we’re stepping away from the noise to reconnect with: ? Who we are beyond the titles. ? Where we’re going next. ? What we need to get there, mentally, emotionally, and strategically. And we’re doing it together. Through sound healing. Personal brand workshops. Health and wellness. Real conversations. And an environment where you don’t have to prove yourself, you just get to be. Because women thrive when surrounded by other women. This is your sign to stop waiting and start making space for yourself. The next retreat is locked in. October in Georgia. More details coming soon.

I do not usually share this part of myself on LinkedIn. But today feels important. This morning, I was honored to be nominated and elected to the board of NORTH UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CONGREGATION (NUUC). It is a full-circle moment I never expected. I grew up Baptist. In college, I became non-denominational. But that was when I started to detach from the church. I felt like faith was being used to push political agendas. Instead of bringing people together, it was dividing them. I saw how faith, once my foundation for progress, was twisted to justify partisan beliefs. It was no longer about love. It was about power. So I walked away. For years, I remained spiritual but distanced from organized religion. I believed in something bigger, but I did not need a church to tell me how to believe. Then I became a parent. My kids started coming home with religious lessons from other kids in school. They had big questions. I wanted them to have a broad, open-minded understanding. I wanted to expose them to different beliefs, not just one. That is when I found Unitarian Universalism. At NUUC, I did not have to fit into a mold. I did not have to follow strict rules or choose between faith and free thought. Unitarian Universalism is not about one belief system. It is about many. It welcomes people from all backgrounds. It honors different traditions, different faiths, and different paths. Above all, it is about love. That is what drew me in. During the pandemic, I felt lost. I had left my job and was stepping into entrepreneurship. The world felt chaotic. I needed community and connection. NUUC became that place for me. They draw wisdom from scripture, experience, science, and personal reflection. They ask big questions: What does it mean to live with purpose? What is a higher power? How do we seek truth? What happens after death? How can we create justice? There are no right or wrong answers, just the journey. That spoke to me. Faith does not have to be rigid. It does not have to be about control. It can be about seeking, learning, and growing. That is why I am here. Today, I step into this role on the NUUC board with deep gratitude and eagerness. If you have ever felt like you do not belong in a church... If you have ever questioned faith but still believe in something bigger... If you want a community that welcomes all and judges none... Know that places like NUUC exist. And I am proud to be part of it. #service #faith

Today, we celebrate the women who rise. Women who take up space. Who speak their truth, unapologetically. Who support each other instead of competing. Who show up, even when the world tries to dim their light. In the Women Wave Warrior Community, we don’t just talk about empowerment, we live it. We lift each other up, hold each other accountable, and create space for real growth. ?? We banish the pleaser. ?? We embrace the fire. ?? We challenge assumptions. ?? We rise, together. This International Women’s Day, let’s honor the women who paved the way, the ones making waves today, and the future leaders who will redefine what’s possible. This is not just a group. It’s a movement. It’s an uprising. It’s a Women Wave. Happy International Women’s Day from the Women Wave Warriors & Reveting.

Going live can totally change your business. But if your livestreams feel awkward or they aren’t getting traction, there’s probably a reason. Here are the top three mistakes people make when going live, and what to do instead. Mistake 1: No Game Plan If you jump on camera without a clear idea of what you’re saying, your viewers notice. Fix this: ? Write down the main points you want to cover. ? Create a simple structure for your stream, but don't over structure. Your audience wants value and clarity. Give them that. Mistake 2: Forgetting About Your Audience Don't mistake livestreams for presentations, it's a conversation. Avoid this by: ? Reading and responding to comments in real time. ? Asking questions that encourage interaction. ? Mentioning viewers by name when they engage. People stay when they feel involved. Make it a two-way conversation. Mistake 3: One-and-Done Content When the livestream ends, your content doesn't have to disappear. Smart marketers repurpose streams into: ? Short clips for social media. ? Add it to podcast. ? Blog posts and newsletters. Cut up the key moments and share them across your channels. Your livestream should keep working for you long after you sign off. The Bottom Line Going live doesn’t need to be complicated. ? Show up prepared. ? Talk with your audience, not at them. ? Keep using that content in different ways. That’s how #livestreaming becomes easy, effective, and powerful.
