Yesterday at the World Aviation Festival I tried something new (at least I never seen it in action). By a company called WHILL. It’s a self-driving seat, that can be used by people with disabilities, elderly, or in fact anyone in need of a ride. Apparently, it’s already live in a few major hubs around the world, like LAX and AMS. Few thoughts: ?? The idea is brilliant! ?? I am curious to see how it goes around and interacts with the crowd in real life. ??♀? Is it available to anyone or does it work similarly to wheelchairs, which airlines provide? Another thing to consider is how a person seating in that seat would feel. Honestly, I felt a bit awkward constantly “bumping” into people ?? I am sure the company has already figured out most of it, and as I understood many things are customizable. Cannot wait to spot it in action at AMS! #airlineindustry #airtravel #travel #airports
