The world's most inspiring brand building workshops that electrify your brand and transform your teams.

关于我们

We're an independent brand building consultancy that orchestrates highly experiential 'studio mentality' workshops. We help build brand ideas that are irresistibly compelling for creatives, and we transform teams so they have a new vocabulary, understanding, and conviction for building their brand. Everything we do is grounded in story - the story of consumers, customers, culture, and the category. Our programs intrinsically build capability, so ideas take root and endure. We’ve transformed hundreds of teams, and grown dozens of brands, with the power of 'story-based strategy' built with a 'studio mentality'.

My cat, Gandalf, was fascinated by the collaborative AI learning discussion I hosted today with Egg Strategy at my home. Thanks Matthew Singer and Michelle Ehlinger Miller for joining and sharing. Apologies about the excessive dander. Both Egg Strategy and Muze have been hard at work learning how we can build value for our clients using AI while assuring strict firewalls to protect their intellectual property. One big takeaway for me today was the "B+" problem that Ross McLean always references. In other words, it's easy to get "B+" responses from AI - the key question is how to elevate to "A+". I think we made some headway; the answer seems to be in using a multi-shot prompting approach (we used to just call this 'talking' ??), rather than expecting a single prompt to produce a quality result. We invited AI to join the meeting (using ChatGPT 4.o voice), and it had some honestly helpful builds!

Hey all - hope you're well and enjoying the exquisite beauty hidden in the little things. I wrote an opinion piece for WARC and I'd love to share it with you. https://lnkd.in/gyC37ZXg Thanks to Madonna Deverson - I owe you one. Thanks to Lena Roland at WARC - you continue to be an invaluable campfire at the core of our industry. And thank you to Rob Campbell Paula Bloodworth Martin Weigel for inspiring a much needed tradition of gastrointestinally-oriented humor in strategy circles. This piece explores how a humble strategist, with the right mindset in the right context, can cultivate organizational metamorphosis that awakens the sleeping strategist and creative catalyst within any marketer. We can teach to fish, not just fish to fish, and in so doing we can share profound personal, professional, and commercial growth with contemporary organizations. If you detect even a modicum of wisdom in this piece, kindly refer to the source of the wisdom in the following incredible women who patiently allowed me to borrow it from them as I worked under their tutelage: Dana Anderson, Paula Ausick, Elizabeth Harris, Wibke Fleischer, Kay Allison, Pamela Narins, Debra Berman, Chris Faldetta, Eliza Yvette Esquivel, April Starr, Jill Baskin, Tamara Rogers, Meredith Herman, Ellen Ratchye Foster, Suzy Parker, Marie Chan, Dorothea Emery Duenow, Robyn Duenow, Min Dahn, Mimi, Eliza Duenow, Emery Duenow, Ami Saraiya p.s. Thank you to Fergus O'Carroll. You were right. When I get excited about a story, I sound like an over-caffeinated mad scientist who's just banged his head on a porcelain toilet. Grateful for your honesty - you too are a bright bonfire at the center of our discipline.
