If you watched the Oscars last night, you may have caught a glimpse of Whalefilm Inc. 's quality work. ?? ? "This is Whalefilm’s 7’ version of the iconic Oscar statue, officially known as the Academy Award of Merit. In collaboration with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, we have designed and created this real life statue. This is one of the most recognizable symbols in the entertainment industry. Standing at 13.5” tall and weighing 8.5 pounds, the statuette features a knight holding a crusader’s sword while standing on a film reel, which has five spokes representing the original branches of the Academy: actors, directors, producers, technicians, and writers. Designed by Cedric Gibbons, an MGM art director, and sculpted by George Stanley, the Oscar was first presented at the inaugural Academy Awards in 1929, The statuettes were originally made of gold-plated bronze, but during World War II, due to metal shortages, they were temporarily crafted from painted plaster. The Bad Bunny Adidas Campus Experience at Coachella 2023 was an amazing build by Whalefilm Inc. ?? ?? "The space’s moss-covered walls and ceiling created the backdrop for a chandelier of exotic flowers, all inspired by the look and feel of Bad Bunny’s latest take on the iconic adidas Campus. Crafted from living flowers, adidas Originals’ and Bad Bunny’s respective logos were prominently featured on the walls of the Coachella pop-up. The installation was made possible by a vertical trellis system to house the living plants, which were watered via a built-in irrigation system." Our team collaborated with AECOM and Turner Construction Company, to deliver impeccable craftsmanship and quality, creating an environment that enhances the overall fan experience. From the intricate detailing to the seamless finishes, every element of these retail spaces was meticulously designed and constructed to embody the spirit of the Clippers’ new home. This project reflects our commitment to collaboration and precision, transforming ideas into tangible results that captivate and inspire. So pumped to see this project with Whalefilm Inc. and White Claw come to life! Our first Coachella Picture Flap appearance was knocked out of the park – from the artwork to the functioning countdown clock and everything in between. Each time the Picture Flap struck 0, it would trigger Claw O’Clock which brought out different music experiences within the Shore Club. Artists like Charlie XCX, Bebe Rhexa, and others played impromptu shows for the guests in the pop-up.
