?? BGAP 360 x QUAY – Business Model Canvas Workshop: From Concept to Clarity! ?? As part of our BGAP 360 X Quay Acceleration program, in partnership with the Charles County Economic Development Department, we are supporting founders in refining their business strategies with expert-led sessions and actionable takeaways. Earlier this month, our founders participated in a Business Model Canvas workshop with Tyrome Smith (Principal Consultant of Go In Now, LLC; Senior Advisor of ARI) and Adam Berk (Co-Author and Director of Divergent Thinking of Startup Program Design), where they guided the founders through key elements of their business model in an interactive, live consultation setting. They also had a 1:1 Office Hours with our Program Director, Ariela Bitansky-Shai, for dedicated support. Key takeaways from the session: ? A structured business model provides clarity for decision-making and growth. ? Customer feedback is critical—testing assumptions early prevents costly mistakes. ? A strong value proposition should directly address customer needs and pain points. ? Revenue models and cost structures must align with long-term sustainability. ? Quay Acceleration (Rebranded from WEVE and Cela) is dedicated to designing, building, and launching accelerator programs that serve the needs of entrepreneurs and drive out-come driven results. We achieve this through partnering with government agencies, domestic and international, as well as institutions and universities to develop programming that supports these partners in their economic development goals. Since 2017, Quay Acceleration has worked with 25+ government partners, as well as a broad range of other institutional incumbents, and has accelerated over 500 companies across the US and globe. Our portfolio has combined raised approximately $870M post-programs and have achieved results leading to new business opportunities, fundraising, partnerships, and more. Our network is composed of over 750 experts across various disciplines, industry verticals, and professions, and over 250 investor groups. Our Flagship program is a 10-week US Soft Landing accelerator for growth-stage international startups entering and scaling in the US. In addition, we build and execute customized acceleration programs for government entities and other international partners. Our accelerator programs are both industry-agnostic as well as geographically agnostic. Since 2017, we’ve accelerated 200+ companies from 34+ different countries. QUAY's startups have a working product and traction in their home markets, and have raised at least a Seed Round of capital.
