This morning, the Wethersfield Police Department welcomed Officer Andrew Jacobson as its newest Police Officer, a 25-year veteran of the Hartford Police Department. Officer Jacobson brings extensive experience from his tenure as a detective in Major Crimes and the Connecticut State Division of Criminal Justice Cold Cases Unit. Please join me in welcoming Officer Jacobson to the Wethersfield Police Department family. Your dedication and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the department's continued success. In addition, the department promoted Sergeant Jakub Owczarski to Lieutenant and Officer Tarik Hightower to Sergeant. Congratulations to Lieutenant Owczarski and Sergeant Hightower on their well-deserved promotions.

Outstanding week in Wethersfield, CT instructing the FBI-LEEDA SLI class with Emma Swearingen! The class consisted of 46 dedicated law enforcement professionals from CT, MA, and RI who were “all in” throughout the entire week.
