At the heart of every university is a beloved mascot. On September 25th, the University of California, Merced debuted "Rufus," a stunning bronze bobcat sculpture created by the talented artist Dan Medina! ?? Standing just over 18 feet tall, this incredible art installation is the result of a collaborative effort between our team, the design team comprised of Pelton Wylie + Fahrney Engineering, Inc., and Pezzoni Engineering, and UC Merced. Our work included a topographic survey, permitting plans, and construction admin support. Invenergy is proud to announce that our Cimarron Link transmission project has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for $306M in federal financing support through the Transmission Facilitation Program. This approximately 400-mile HVDC transmission line will deliver new renewable energy supply from the Oklahoma Panhandle to support energy price competitiveness and stability for Oklahoma consumers, bolster reliability, and strengthen long-term energy security in the region.
