Westmark donated to the Ashton Senior Center for their Thanksgiving buffet this holiday season. We were able to meet with Susan Sulivan, the President of Ashton Senior Citizens Center, and Mary Adamic, VP, and talk about this wonderful program they have. They serve about 150 meals a week and even have a meals on wheels program for those who can’t make it into the center! This donation will help purchase hams, turkeys, and all of the goodies you’ll be serving your own families this Thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is about more than just a meal-it’s about sharing warmth and love with others. Together, we’re creating moments of joy for all! ??

By attending the Idaho Hispanic Chamber's "Gran Fiesta Gala," we are reinforcing our commitment to economic empowerment, financial education, and community engagement. This marks the beginning of a focused effort to build stronger relationships with Hispanic individuals and businesses in our region, with the goal of fostering long-term growth and success. We look forward to our continued work and partnership with the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations to help drive these efforts forward.

Westmark Credit Union is excited to partner with Broulim’s in Ammon and the Idaho State Police for the 7th Annual ‘10 Counties Christmas Meal Drive’! ?? Our goal this year is to provide 700 meals to families in need across our communities spreading joy and warmth this holiday season. Donations are being accepted now through Christmas Day—let’s work together to make this holiday season brighter for our neighbors! We were able to fill and donate over 100 purses to Purses with a Purpose in Boise! Purses with a Purpose sets out to see how they can help, driven by the belief that everyone is worthy of love and worthy of a life without personal necessities. They recognize very few services exist to meet the needs of women and teens in need.

We are excited to team up with South Eastern Idaho Community Action Agency (SEICAA) for "Socks for Seniors"! SEICAA will be accepting donations beginning on October 30th-December 2nd for Bannock County! SEICAA is dedicated to providing opportunity and support for individuals and communities to thrive and reach their fullest potential, promoting self-sufficiency and greater economic independence through services, education, affordable housing and training. You can take any of the following items into our Pocatello branch.

We, Westmark Credit Union, attended #MAXX2024 in Denver, CO, hosted by the GoWest Credit Union Association, one of the largest credit union conferences in the country! We were honored to receive the “Top Of The Hill” award for our advocacy efforts and so proud of all the award recipients recognized for our hard work embracing the Credit Union mission of People Helping People! Westmark proudly has two employees selected as Young Professional Mentors, Dezire Quinones and Kamden Huntsman that will represent Idaho and on behalf of Westmark around the country. Our amazing leaders like CEO Mike Schenck, Tammy RidgwellI, Trevor Hansen, Jade Beckman, Heather McMillan, Jonathan G., and Sara Plothow leaned in and embraced all the learning, networking, and fundraising opportunities presented and have shared those tools that encourage and motivate our team to elevate the work Credit Unions do to improve the lives of Idahoans everyday . It and was an amazing event, connecting with nearly 1,000 credit union professionals and business partners, raising $1.2 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and sharing our passion for financial education, stronger communities, and collaboration. In support of the Boys & Girls Club of Magic Valley and Project Succeeded Twin Falls we are thrilled to announce our co-sponsoship of Project School Supplies with Idaho Power! ?? Project School Supplies: Empowering Students and Teachers in the Magic Valley! ?????? In the Magic Valley, many schools are facing significant challenges in providing necessary supplies and resources for student success. With the rising costs of living, numerous families are also struggling to afford essential school supplies for their children. Our mission is dedicated to relieving the burden on K-8 teachers by directly providing them with school supplies. This year, we've donated backpacks filled with supplies and $100 gift cards to 100 children in need in the Twin Falls area. Thanks to the Boys and Girls Club, identified 100 kids that will also receive a new outfit to start the school year with confidence! ??????? We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every teacher deserves the support they need. Together, we can make a difference!
