Exciting news from Westland Distillery as we expand our reach to the SEA(s)! Westland American Single Malt is now available in Duty Free at SEATAC. Following successful launches last year in key global travel retail locations like New York JFK Terminals 1 and 4, Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Terminal D, San Francisco International Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) with DFS Group, Westland continues its expansion. We're also thrilled to announce a new partnership with Holland America Line's Alaskan cruises. Passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy unique single casks of Westland, alongside our Flagship expression. A LANDMARK MOMENT FOR AMERICAN WHISKEY Today marks a historic achievement for Westland Distillery, and the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission as the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has officially recognized American Single Malt Whiskey as its own distinct category! As a proud founding member of the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission (ASMWC), Westland Distillery has spent over a decade advocating for this moment. This recognition isn’t just a win for us; it’s a win for the entire whiskey community. Together with over 150 distillers, we’ve defined what it means to craft American Single Malt—100% malted barley, distilled in the U.S., and aged with care in oak barrels. It’s a standard that honors tradition while promoting thoughtful innovation. We’re honored to lead the charge, and we’re thrilled to continue setting the bar for excellence in the world of whiskey. Looking for a space to host your group for holiday festivities? We offer private rentals of our space here at Westland, perfect for corporate outings and holiday parties. Naturally whiskey is on the menu, and we work closely with catering partners to bring your event to life! Want to learn more about our whiskey as you celebrate? We also offer tours during your event, so guests can fully enjoy a dram, surrounded by our stills and aging spirit. Event rentals get full access to our tasting room and cask room, which can accommodate up to 150 for a seated dinner, or 250 for standing room.? One for the record books..... Last Saturday was an unforgettable day @ Westland Distillery as we launched our long awaited Garryana 9th Edition! It was the record for our Tasting Room both in terms of traffic and sales as 500+ Westland enthusiasts braved the rain to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
