2024 PROJECT HIGHLIGHT Umoja Biopharma’s headquarters consolidated three separate offices into one, bringing all of their staff together in the heart of Seattle’s life sciences community. A key goal for Umoja’s headquarters was to create a workplace combining lab and office environments that encourage community, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas and information.?There are several collaboration spaces including a large conference room that can also be used for training, and a kitchen/dining area designed around gathering and socializing as a team. Thoughtfully mixed in throughout are spaces for privacy, respite, and focused wotm work. The WCG team, including Evanne Webster and Krista Szafranski, assisted in project oversight and management from concept design, into construction, and through move-in. We appreciate the opportunity to work with a great client (Umoja Biopharma) and team, which included DPR Construction (GC), SABA+BA (architect), Catalyst Workplace Activation (furniture), and Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. (landlord).
