Your West Grand Neighborhood Organization, working for you! Yesterday, we were very pleased to facilitate a detailed and productive conversation between neighbors, many City of Grand Rapids staff, and our commissioners Drew Robbins and Jon O'Connor. We were elevating assorted concerns over the execution of the bike lane on Turner, as everyone is pro-bike, but many details have caused issues for residents from accessibility, to maintenance and landscaping, tosafety. These wonderful city staff, across several teams, got into the weeds (so to speak!) with us on all of these topics and shared a lot of good info on plans for completion, adjustments, and possible adoption of resident-suggested improvements.
