Last week, our WFWIB team volunteered at the BotsIQ Preliminary Competition at Westmoreland County Community College! It was great to see students showcase their technical skills, creativity, and passion for robotics and manufacturing. This program not only inspires the next generation of STEM leaders but also strengthens the talent pipeline for our local manufacturing employers. This past Tuesday, educators gathered at Westmoreland Intermediate Unit for Day 4 of Teacher in the Workplace! The focus was on collaboration, creativity, and presentation preparation as teachers honed their skills to bring industry insights back to the classroom. Through engaging reflection activities and hands-on presentation prep, educators explored meaningful ways to connect real-world experiences with student learning. The energy was high, and the commitment to shaping future-ready classrooms was stronger than ever!
