Preparation precedes productivity! WMI was awarded the single largest contract of the year in July and we are preparing for the project by assuring all team members have access to the sequence plan and drawings. Laser cut parts are sorted and staged per weldment. It's remarkable how fast a project comes together when the proper planning and preparation takes place.

Never too old to learn new tricks in the shop! Most of the time the old-timers teach the youngsters the trade, but sometimes the youngsters teach the veterans. Our shop manager learned to use the water jet today cutting parts for a proprietary harvester WMI is helping develop as the contract manufacturer. Thanks to David for being so generous with his knowledge of CNC operations and teaching the whole team to cut these intricate parts.
