She started with East Resources, Inc. in Allegany, NY, followed by positions at BioMaxx, Inc. in Wellsville, NY (producer of MuddMixx for drilling mud disposal), Allegany Abstract in Belmont, NY, Rex Energy Corp. in State College, PA, and Blackhawk Energy, LLC. "Working at Western Land Services, Inc. has been an incredible experience. I only wish I had joined them sooner, especially after being laid off during COVID. For those familiar with the oil and gas industry, you know that jobs can be transient, but the connections you make often come full circle. Over my 20+ years in the field, I've managed to stay in touch with many colleagues in one way or another." We asked Ellen what she is looking forward to the most in her retirement years. " I am looking forward to spending time with my family and grandchildren. Also, my gardening and volunteer work, and travel." Congratulations on your great achievements in your career.
