Western Illinois University Athletics will host the 2025 WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5. This tournament will feature WIU's men's and women's golf teams, along with other teams from around the country, competing on one of the premier golf courses in the Midwest. In advance of the start of the tournament, WIU alumni and supporters are invited to a special reception from 4:30-6 p.m., Thursday, April 3, at TPC Deere Run. Attendees will have a chance to meet the WIU golf teams and hear from WIU President Kristi Mindrup and Athletic Director Paul Bubb, while enjoying light appetizers and a cash bar. Moline-Coal Valley High School students visited campus this week for a bridge-building contest with WIU Engineering students! ??? Western Illinois University's Bilingual Early Learning Center is seeking volunteers to help set up the playground, organize classroom equipment and maintain the building. The volunteer event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at 406 7th Street, Moline, IL 61265.
