Formed in 1979, WFPS is dedicated to education, fostering common goals within the western states and providing a regional voice at the national level. WFPS acts as a clearinghouse for interstate communication and sponsors a biennial conference for Surveyors.

College of Southern Nevada Land Surveying/Geomatics degree classes start this August, and we urgently need a Professional Land Surveyor instructor. Instructor Needed! Are you passionate about land surveying and want to help mentor the next generation? Please consider an instructor role at College of Southern Nevada. What you need to know: Commitment: One Night a Week (You pick the night!) Location: Charleston Campus, Las Vegas Subject: CEE 121 - Elementary Surveying Requirements: A degree is not mandatory for this position. However, the instructor must possess a Professional Land Surveyor license.
