    Westerman offers a large variety of standard, yet customizable options for Sand Separators. Whether your applications require Vertical or Horizontal, Cylindrical or Spherical, Gravitational or Centrifugal, we have a design in mind. Sand Separators, also known as Sand Traps, are used to prevent sand from damaging equipment and to help streamline the process of separating solids from liquids in downstream processing equipment such as Gas Production Units. The produced fluid, a mixture of oil, gas, water, and sand, enters the trap and flows through a series of baffles or settling zones where either Gravitational or Centrifugal forces take over the separation process.

    At Westerman, our Outbound Team has developed strong relationships with reputable haulers in order to provide our customers with quality equipment and experiences upon delivery. Pictured is a Regeneration portion of a Dehydration Unit being delivered to one of our Customers serving the Midstream market in the East. This unit recycles and removes water from the Triethylene Glycol (TEG), which is used to strip moisture from Natural Gas in the Glycol Contactor portion of the Dehydration Unit. This is accomplished with a Reboiler and a series of Filters until the TEG is back to pure state, ready for recirculation in the Dehydration System. Transport is just as important as any other phase in a project. So, whether the load is small, or is large enough to require a crane, our team puts forth the extra effort to assure delivery is given the attention it deserves.?Westerman Delivers!

    This week we want to highlight a High-Pressure Separator Package, built for a long-standing customer, typically operating in the East. With this unit, Westerman is set to deliver our first equipment manufactured to operate in the Haynesville Shale Basin, located in parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, and East Texas.? High Pressure Separators are the primary devices intended to separate the three phases of Oil, Gas, and Water at or near the initial inlet stream of an oil well. Based on the principle that Oil, Gas and Water do not mix due to densities, separation is further achieved with a series of Weir plates and/or buckets for Oil and Water outlets. Vanes or Mist Extractors help to strip Gas of excess moisture before moving downstream for further processing or Midstream use. Separator designs can vary depending on customer needs and parameters, and pressure ratings typically range from ~720 psig to ~1,500 psig. This unit in particular is a 1,420 psig package.?     Westerman Bremen recently completed Combustor packages for a Combustor operating in the East. These units are designed to burn off excess combustible gases such as vapors from storage tanks or various production and processing equipment. This is achieved by mixing those gases with air and igniting them, converting the chemical energy into heat energy through controlled combustion. This helps to minimize or prevent emissions from gas production.??

    At our Bremen, Ohio facility, our commitment to providing upscale equipment designed to produce quality oil and gas never stops. We are pleased to highlight a Glycol Dehydration Unit, manufactured for one of our Midstream Customers in the East. This unit is engineered to filter and scrub glycol of impurities using substrate. The glycol is recycled in this manner before piping back to the Contact Tower to produce Gas which has been stripped of excess moisture and contaminants. With hard work and dedication from our sales team down to our assembly crew, we were able to successfully introduce this new product stream to our arsenal of American made Oil & Gas Equipment.?
