Volunteering gives our teams a chance to make a real difference in our local communities. This week, WestCap team members from around the world came together to give back. In New York, our team supported Hell's Kitchen Farm Project by weeding, watering, harvesting, and preparing fresh vegetables for the food pantry. Our London office supported The Bow Foodbank Ltd by packing bags, receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and distributing food packages to those in need. A huge thank you to Percent Pledge for making this possible!

I had the distinct pleasure of speaking to the next generation of risk and insurance professionals from the California State University, Fullerton School of Risk Management and Insurance. A special thank you to Marsh and the Spencer Educational Foundation for the invitation. It was an enriching experience participating in student roundtable discussions with other distinguished industry leaders: Bito Borovinsky, Regina Adler, Lisa Phillips, and Israel Ramos from Marsh and Nyreese Arzu from Beazley. The day concluded with a dynamic panel discussion on Cyber Security and AI: Opportunities and Challenges alongside Cynthia Garcia, Chief Risk Officer; Jeff Bowen, CTO at Bernards; Lisa Phillips; and Nyreese Arzu. I have been fortunate to be mentored by and work with some of the brightest and best in the industry like Ann Seymour Dave Wilkins Donnette Mayer Rhonda Glenn, ARM and George Redenbaugh and feel a deep responsibility to pass on what I have learned from them to the next generation of risk professionals.
