In the past two weeks we were able to give back to three different member nonprofits from our Golf FORE Business! Outing and our Luminary Awards Luncheon! Our Nonprofit Beneficiary of our outing was New Hope Ministries, South Central PA, chosen by our Golf Committee. For our Luminary Awards, our Shining Star Award Recipient, Michelle Loomis of UPMC Pinnacle Foundation chose Community CARES as her nonprofit of choice. Our Visionary Award Recipient, Joanna Dennstaedt of Radiant Hope, chose her organization as her Nonprofit. Kristen and Krystin were out and about today supporting our member, The Salvation Army of Harrisburg, at their 2024 Shoe Strut! The main purpose?behind the annual Shoe Strut event is to solve a community need: New shoes for children who need them.? For?every guest,?one pair of new shoes is?donated to a local child?in need through The Salvation Army in?partnership?with Boscov's. In addition, 100% of silent auction proceeds directly benefit?programs and services of The Salvation Army Harrisburg. Today they were able to raise over $13,000 in donations alone!
