关于我们
West Michigan Cancer Center (WMCC) is changing the tide on cancer. WMCC is an ambulatory, stand alone cancer center. We are treating, beating and curing cancer more than ever before, and helping patients move beyond it so it doesn’t maintain a grip on their lives. We have the technological resources, clinical skill, support services, and experience to best meet your individual challenge, which explains why more people are referred and treated here than anywhere else in the region. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, plan to fight it and fight to win. Together, we win.

Sometimes, we just get blown away by someone's kindness and generosity. This is one of those times. Mya is a 15 year old high school sophomore from the Grand Rapids area who turned a class assignment into labor of love for WMCC. Mya taught herself amigurumi, the Japanese craft of creating cute crocheted items. Things like adorable little animals and hearts. When her school assigned each sophomore to complete what's called a 'Personal Project'--to connect a hobby or interest into a real-world problem/skill--Mya grabbed miles of yarn and her crochet hook and plunged into action. She spent four months crocheting more than 100 (!!) endearing animals and objects to pass on to patients. She utilized her skill in a big way to bring smiles. We just can't over how talented and amazing you are, Mya! Thank you for your incredible kindness. #WMCC #HopeStartsHere #amigurumi #cancerpatients #youngergeneration #helpingothers #selfless #thankyou #Kalamazoo #GrandRapids
