I had the amazing privilege of spending 11 days in New Orleans with the National Football League (NFL) communications team, working behind the scenes at Super Bowl LIX under the fantastic leadership of Skylar Burg and Justin Seplowe. In the days before the big game, I contributed to the media accreditation process, assisting with credentialing and providing support to the media with questions related to the week's events. One of the highlights of my experience was attending Opening Night at Caesars Superdome, where I interviewed players from the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles in their last media appearance before the game. I also had the honor of serving as a red-carpet escort at NFL Honors, guiding media and coordinating interviews between talent and journalists. On game day, I helped manage media operations at the Superdome and supported post-game transcriptions to ensure smooth coverage. Being part of such a historic event was truly unforgettable, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such an incredible team. A special thank you to West End Strategy Team as they supported me on this exciting NOLA adventure. And best of all, I ran into some of my favorite American University School of Communication alums, Luke Bennett, Janelle Davis, and Brady Ferguson.

West End Strategy Team had the privilege of standing by survivors in January at what may be the last major global commemoration of the 1945 liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, five years after we were there for the 75th. Among the brave survivors who returned to Auschwitz to share their testimonies, Tova Friedman was there both times. Last week marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau -- the Nazi death camp where more than a million people were murdered. Our team, at West End Strategy Team, had the honor of helping to ensure the stories of survivors were shared with the world. As The New York Times captured: "Dozens of world leaders, including Britain’s king and the president of Ukraine, joined a dwindling group of Nazi death camp survivors on Monday in southern Poland to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s liberation of Auschwitz, where?more than 1.1 million people, mostly Jews, were murdered. A day of solemn ceremony held near former gas chambers and crematories in the Polish town of Oswiecim, whose name was Germanized to Auschwitz during Hitler’s 1939-1945 occupation of Poland, was shadowed throughout by a resurgence of nationalism in Germany and other European countries.."

The WEST team was proud to partner with Washington National Cathedral to honor and share the life of President Jimmy Carter. President Carter was a lifelong humanitarian who championed human rights and peace, and it was a privilege to celebrate his legacy in the midst of presidents, members of Congress, past and present officials, international dignitaries and Carter’s friends and family.
