?? Today, we celebrate a historic victory for the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District and our entire community! ?? Thanks to YOU—our voters, supporters, and neighbors—both referendum questions have passed! ?? For the first time in our district's history, an operational referendum was approved. This monumental step shows a powerful commitment to our teachers and staff, allowing us to increase compensation and ensure our district remains a place where dedicated educators want to stay, grow, and make a lasting difference in the lives of our students. And that’s not all. After more than 20 years, a facilities referendum has been passed, empowering us to invest in crucial repairs to our schools. This means safer, more secure, and more accessible learning environments that support every student, every day. Together, we’re building a brighter future for every student. Last week, the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District proudly hosted its second annual Retiree Breakfast at the West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Center. This special event celebrated the incredible dedication and service of our retired staff, acknowledging their lasting impact on our students and community. The breakfast provided a wonderful opportunity for former colleagues to reconnect, share memories, and reflect on the lasting legacy they've built over the years.
