Today is Ageism Awareness Day! The truth is ageism can impact us at any age. However, a 2020 poll found that about 82% of individuals ages 50-80 experienced ageism on a daily basis. #endageism #ageismawarenessday #asaging

We are wrapping up an amazing September at Wesley SecureCare! We welcomed new members, hosted seminars with over 45 attendees, and today we held our first in person GAIT (geriatric assessment interdisciplinary team) with Dr. Diane Martin from UMB. Students from various health majors came to our office to learn more about aging in place. They met a few of our members and interviewed them for their interdisciplinary assessments! It was a great experience for both the students and our members! #ccah #ageinplace
