At our 2024 Masquerade Ball, we announced that our new Executive Director is Porschia Pickett, M.A. Porschia has served the last two years as our Chief Program Officer, where she has overseen our youth development, senior, and emergent needs programs. Porschia has demonstrated incredible leadership and commitment to our mission. We are confident that her vision will continue to drive positive change in the Beaumont, Lonsdale, and Mechanicsville communities! We had fun celebrating the incredible work of these organizations this morning! From mental health needs to food insecurity to financial literacy these recipients are making strides in making Knoxville a strong and stable community. First Horizon Foundation's Grants for Good Campaign awarded $1.6 million to 160 nonprofits across First Horizon Bank's footprint. Congratulations to the following organizations! food4VOLS at University of Tennessee, Knoxville Mental Health Association of East Tennessee Restoration House of East Tennessee, The Wesley House Community Center
This morning, I had the pleasure of presenting four nonprofits with $10,000 each through First Horizon Foundation’s Grants for Good Campaign. The campaign awarded $1.6 million to 160 nonprofits across the Bank's 12-state footprint to celebrate First Horizon Bank's 160th Anniversary. Congratulations to food4Vols at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Wesley House Community Center, Mental Health Association of East Tennessee, and Restoration House of East Tennessee, The. Grants for Good provided an incredible opportunity to reenforce First Horizon’s unwavering commitment to invest in our communities and support likeminded nonprofit organizations that are making significant impacts across our region.
