Congratulations to our Winter 2025 Grantees! All projects selected serve the Top 10 Neighborhoods with the highest gun violence, engage/are led by youth, and use CPED where improved beautification enhances community ownership and reduces violence. Thank you to all who applied for the Safe and Clean grant, many worthy applications were submitted with over $484,059 in requests. All applicants have an opportunity to receive the committee's feedback, please get in touch with Ty to learn more. Safe and Clean funding is intended for projects that harness the power of young people to create lasting, positive physical changes in their community(place-based). The City of Cincinnati's (@city_of_cincy) Safe and Clean Fund's next deadline is May 9, 2025. All applicants must meet with Ty to discuss their project ideas to be eligible for funding. The best and largest 3D-Printing Showcase ever that took place at University of Cincinnati !! Organized by Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative under the leadership of Sean Kelley, it gives the opportunity to hundreds of young students to practice 3D Printing design skills and then share them with the world! Middle school students from our after-school program at Wesley Chapel Mission Center designed this year existing houses in OTR and their dream houses they would like to see in OTR! They had fun doing it, while learning new skills that could lead them one day to a career! So proud of them!!! Thank you Kevin Corey for everything that you do to support these kids!
