Sworn Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) experience a lot of stress and trauma due to the nature of the work. Like everyone, they are also susceptible to issues not directly related to work but affecting the desired performance expectation at work. Des Plaines Police Department has spearheaded this effort to connect LEO with Peer Support Officers and vetted mental health professionals across the nation. The grand vision of the product is to serve as a one stop shopping place for LEO to obtain varied treatment options, educational material, external sources, real time interaction with advisors and peers, share survival stories, access lifestyle information, retreat information and much more. This endeavor is a pioneering effort and a first of its kind in the nation. It is modern, engaging, relevant, beautiful, user friendly and highly efficient. Mobile Apps for iPhone and Android devices are available for convenience. Please make the best of this system.

Chief Linas brings over 26 years of distinguished law enforcement experience, most recently serving as Commander of the 14th District for the City of Chicago. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and community-focused policing. Chief Linas is a dedicated advocate for officer wellness, public safety, and 21st-century community policing strategies. As the first female Chief of Police in Lindenhurst’s history, she is committed to fostering meaningful relationships with residents, enhancing public safety initiatives, and maintaining the high standards of excellence within the Lindenhurst Police Department. Celebrating the Evanston Foster Senior Club ???? The Evanston Police Department had the honor of celebrating the incredible members of the Foster Senior Club alongside Shorefront Legacy Center, the C.A.R.E. Team (Jeron Dorsey, MSA, Certified Crisis Responder), and Outreach (Stacey Moragne Sr.). We shared kind words, enjoyed a meal together, and reflected on the profound impact this amazing group has had on our community. A special thank you to?2nd Ward Councilmember Krissie Harris?for joining us as our guest speaker. To the members of the Foster Senior Club thank you?for your wisdom, strength, and lifelong contributions to our city.
