Our Aftermarket team recently helped a customer successfully rebuild their infeed conveyor to keep it running smoothly for years to come. ? Our rebuilds involve replacing all the core moving parts of the infeed conveyor to extend its active years and ensure efficient operation. For this project, we replaced crane rails, disassembled and installed these new parts: ? 1. Track Rollers 2. D-4 Chain Links 3. Sprocket Segments 4. Installation Hardware 5. Grousers/Flights/Tracks 6. Full-Body/Return Rollers 7. Bearings & Bearing Housings ? While regular maintenance of the grousers is kept up to manage deformation, wear, or failure, mills that produce more than 1.2 million output tons will need to replace the rest of the moving parts on their infeed conveyors.
