Today, we honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. ???? Did you know that WellStone is a member of the VA Community Care Network, and offers a number of other veteran-specific services?? Jessica Sellers served in the Army National Guard as a 31B (Military Police), and her husband was active Navy. They previously lived near Naval Station Norfolk, but they are now building their civilian lives in Cullman, where she is serving those who, like her, have served our nation. Read and follow our blog to learn more about her story. https://lnkd.in/e_S29A79 #HonoringVeterans #VeteranHealth #PTSDSupport

We are thrilled to announce the guest speaker for the 2025 Beacon of Hope Celebration: Basketball superstar and Olympic gold medalist Chamique Holdsclaw. ???? ?Known for her incredible drive on the court, Chamique was a key player for the Tennessee Lady VOLS, the USA National team, and the WNBA.? But it wasn't all national championships and gold medals. Despite her professional success, she struggled personally with serious mental illness. Thankfully, through a lot of work and learning, Chamique has undergone extensive healing. Today, she is a staunch advocate for mental health awareness. ?? We cannot wait to hear Chamique's story with you on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
