The Excellence in Patient Safety Recognition program honors Pennsylvania’s top-performing hospitals, using data from the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network measuring key infection rates – including central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheter-associated UTI, and C-Diff.

Hello from the future site of the Veterans Memorial Project! ??? ? We joined the City of York, the York City Parks Conservancy, the Four Chaplains, and the Gold Star Garden for an exciting update on the Veterans Memorial Project this morning. The effort will bring to life a memorial for the Four Chaplains in #YorkPa to create a permanent reminder of the selfless sacrifices of our nation's armed forces, while revitalizing the current entrance to Veterans Memorial Park. WellSpan is a proud employer of nearly 800 veterans, and we are honored to help make this memorial a reality for the communities we serve.? ?? This morning was made extra special as Shane R. Walker (US Navy) and David Whitcomb (US Army) – co-leads for VEST, one of four new team member resource groups offered at WellSpan – joined the celebration. VEST represents the Veterans and United States Armed Forces community, focused on helping team members to achieve a shared sense of comfort, connection, and contribution.?? ?
