Congratulations to our CEO & President, Allison Ashe, for winning the Innovative Leadership Award at the Together Georgia Georgia Conference on Children & Families! Allison’s visionary leadership has transformed our impact as a nonprofit. As Juanita Stedman, Executive Director of Together Georgia, put it: “Safe to say, we women work outside of the box. Allison busts the box wide open. She doesn’t let the box get in her way, nor does she let those who think things should stay in the box get in her way. She came into Wellroot very focused on what the organization, already well-respected, could do to change child welfare in Georgia. She knew, as we all knew, that we need to reach these families before they reach us.
