A letter from a concerned psychologist:....... As a therapist, I’ve worked with countless women over time. Gradually, I started noticing a pattern. So many of them came to me with the same underlying worries: “I’m not good enough, productive enough, skinny enough.” “What if my partner realizes they deserve better?” “My parents think I don’t do enough around the house.” “If I rely on my friends too much, they’ll think I’m weak.” “If I skip the gym on my period, I’m worthless.” Again and again, I saw brilliant, capable women weighed down by the pressure to be everything to everyone—at work, at home, and in society. The expectation is relentless: be successful yet selfless, ambitious yet accommodating, confident yet never “too much.” And when women try to assert themselves, they’re met with a tremendous amount of guilt and? self-doubt. This Women’s Day, we at WellM decided to change that narrative. So we created The ABC of Breaking Barriers: Assertiveness, Confidence, and Boundaries for Women—also known as “How to Say No!”—an interactive workshop designed to help women advocate for themselves both at work and at home. Through role-playing exercises and practical strategies, participants will gain the confidence to set healthy boundaries and communicate assertively. This workshop isn’t just about learning—it’s about experiencing, engaging, and transforming. So join us in breaking barriers. Let’s make a change, together. It’s time to equip women with the tools to say no when needed—so they can say yes to themselves. Viveka Mansata Ritika beniwal Arushi Jajodia Rakesh Sarin

??♂??? 10,000 steps a day? Sounds great—until you realize you’re glued to your desk for 8+ hours! ?? But guess what? You don’t need a treadmill under your desk to make it happen. Small, intentional changes can get you moving throughout the day! ?? ?? Take the stairs instead of the elevator. ?? Walk & talk during phone calls. ?? Set hourly movement breaks (even a 2-min stretch counts!). ?? Lunchtime strolls – your body (and mind) will thank you! ?? Park farther away or take an extra lap around the office. ? Remember, it’s not about a "perfect" 10K—it’s about moving more, feeling better, and making progress daily. ?? Desk job struggles? The Importance of Celebrating ‘Small’ Wins Life can often feel like an endless race, with one goal after another waiting to be achieved. We’re conditioned to focus on the #bigmoments —the promotions, the achievements, the #milestones. But somewhere along the way, we tend to overlook the everyday #victories that shape our lives. Ask yourself—how often do you reach that big finish line only to find yourself already worried about the next task? When we neglect to acknowledge our small wins, we risk burning out and losing sight of how far we’ve come. In other words, it’s not just about getting things done, it’s about appreciating the process!? Research backs this up too; it shows that these smaller moments are essential for sustaining motivation and mental well-being. Celebrating small wins releases dopamine, the “feel-good” neurotransmitter that gives us a sense of pleasure and reward. That little burst of satisfaction makes us more likely to keep going. It’s a reminder that we are moving in the right direction, even if the steps feel small or slow. There’s also a deeper emotional impact when we allow ourselves to honor these moments. Small wins build confidence. They tell us, “You are capable, and your efforts matter.” This is particularly important in today’s fast-paced work environment, where we are often asked to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.? But what if you struggle to recognize progress? What if no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough? If self-doubt, perfectionism, or burnout keep holding you back, therapy can help. A therapist can guide you in shifting your mindset, managing stress, and learning how to celebrate yourself—not just when you achieve something big, but every step of the way. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like nothing you do is “good enough,” let’s talk. Book a session on WellM today and start recognizing the wins that truly matter—yours. Because every win is exactly that—a win. And you deserve to celebrate it. #smallwins #wellm #milestones #corporate #leadership

Reconnecting Through Music: A Company’s Perspective on Wellness Last weekend, one of our team members shared the joy of attending a #Coldplay concert in #Mumbai—a band cherished from childhood. It wasn’t just about enjoying music; it was about rediscovering a part of themselves, reconnecting with emotions, and experiencing the transformative power of joy. As "Yellow" filled the stadium, it became clear how small moments like these can nourish the soul. Nostalgia, serenity, and collective energy swept through, reminding us all of the importance of pausing life’s demands to embrace the things that truly bring us happiness. At WellM, we believe that wellness isn’t limited to routines or checklists. It's about finding those magical moments—whether through music, art, or any passion—that remind you to be present and connected with yourself. Let this be a reminder: Investing in what sparks joy fuels mental well-being and strengthens our capacity to thrive. What’s your next joy-filled moment? Let’s create space for it together. #MentalWellness #SelfCare #RechargingThroughPassion #ColdplayMagic #WorkLifeBalance

#Money vs. #Mental Health? What happened recently at #YesMadam — #employees losing their #jobs because they admitted to feeling #stressed—is heartbreaking. It’s a #reminder that we, as a #society, need to do #better. Let’s get one thing straight: #mentalhealth is not a joke. Struggling at work or in life doesn’t make you weak; if anything, it shows courage to admit when you’re not okay. No one should have to fear punishment for being honest about their mental health. #Workplaces should be safe spaces where people feel supported, not shamed. When #employers put profits or deadlines over the well-being of their team, we lose our #humanity. And let’s face it—corporate hustle culture has gone too far. It’s pushing people to their limits, and the cost is simply too high. At WellM, we stand firmly against this kind of behavior. We’re committed to creating workplaces where #employees can get the help they need, without #judgment or #fear. Whether it’s therapy sessions, #wellness challenges, or stress management resources, we strive to make a difference. But we can’t do this alone. It’s time for all of us— #employers, #leaders, and #colleagues—to step up and #support one another. No job is worth #sacrificing your mental health. Look after #yourself first, because nothing else matters if you’re not okay. Let’s start #valuing #people over profits. It’s about time.
