Welkin Mechanical was able to successfully install, startup and commission new boilers for the Queens Midtown Tunnel project. Just in time for the upcoming Fall/Winter season (bittersweet since we have all been enjoying this recent warm weather).? Great job team! #welkinmechanical

Welkin Mechanical, in collaboration with Soil Solutions, successfully installed the first 40-ton micro-pile, drilled 35 feet below grade. This pile was installed and grouted as a test/production pile to verify that the site conditions and installation process are suitable for continued drilling. As part of this project, Soil Solutions will drill and grout a total of 28 micro-piles throughout the Sludge Loading Bay Tunnel. These micro-piles will ensure the stability of a new tunnel being constructed at the Westchester Wastewater Treatment Plant. #welkinmechanical
