Four Weld County residents were appointed or reappointed to three advisory boards on Wednesday by the board of commissioners. Andrew Odom was appointed to the Workforce Development Board as the Workforce Representative. A.J. Krieger was reappointed to the Community Development Block Grant Committee as the Municipality Representative while Bailey Naibauer and Isaia Aricayos were reappointed to the Weld County Fair Board. The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is looking for an Analytical Chemist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate should have rich experience in operating and maintaining Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS), with development of analytical methods and writing procedures using these instruments. The Analytical Chemist will play a key role in our analytical chemistry laboratory, conducting quantitative analysis, and ensuring high-quality control of analytical data. Congratulations to Public Safety Communications team member Josh Rysavy, who earned a Lifesaver Award for a 911 call he assisted with in August! Rysavy provided response to an individual who had lost consciousness and was not breathing following a seizure. His actions were critical in helping to save the life of the individual. This is the second consecutive year Rysavy has earned a Lifesaver Award. Great job!
