Welcome Home strives to provide families experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. We are a local nonprofit organization in Newton, Massachusetts, that collects and redistributes like-new household items to hundreds of people in need each month with no fees, no forms and no requirements. Any items that we cannot use are repurposed or recycled appropriately, thus benefiting the environment. We take donations by appointment several times a week. See our website for more details on making donations and how to request home goods. Note: our headquarters' entrance is at the rear of 1191 Washington Street, West Newton, on the corner of Dunstan Street. Use 27 Dunstan Street for the GPS address and enter Dunstan Street via Watertown Street, as Dunstan Street is now one-way. Bulfinchers continue to warm things up for those less fortunate! Each year, The Bulfinch Group holds its annual warm up/non-perishable goods drive, coming together to support those in need within our community. This year, we are supporting Welcome Home Massachusetts and the Needham Community Council. This simple gesture will provide warmth and comfort to those facing the chill of winter without the proper resources, bringing hope and optimism to our community.
