Honoring the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz . On January 27, 2025, we solemnly observed the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, remembering the resilience of Holocaust Survivors and the lives lost. This milestone is a testament to the importance of preserving history and educating future generations about the atrocities of the past. In 2016, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was honored to have played a role in the expansion and improvement of Holocaust Museum Houston, a space dedicated to remembrance, education, and the fight against intolerance. Working alongside Project Architect, PGAL, WES provided professional Land Surveying & Platting services to support the museum’s transformation from a 21,000 to 57,000 square-foot campus. This expansion created new classrooms, an amphitheater, and exhibition areas to house additional artifacts donated by local Survivors, ensuring that their stories live on.
