During the forming process of the EMI/RFI Shielding Ring, we were challenged with maintaining tight tolerances. To address this, we developed and integrated various manufacturing techniques, including chemically etched metal strips that are servo-fed through two independent air-driven forming tools within a standalone cell for the production of this part. As a result, we were able to manufacture this component to accommodate four different shield sizes used for Aerospace grade ARINC connectors. ?
