This Spring/Summer 2025, we are offering scholarship funds to support eligible students who have secured real estate internships and need financial assistance for housing, travel, and other related expenses. At the Weiser Center, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to pursuing valuable real estate opportunities. These scholarships are designed to help you focus on gaining hands-on experience without the added financial burden. Applications for the Fourth Annual Real Estate Academy are NOW OPEN! The Weiser Center for Real Estate is excited to bring another group of students to New York City for a multi-day immersive experience in the heart of the real estate industry. This program offers an unparalleled opportunity to expand your industry knowledge, gain confidence in your academic and career path, and build meaningful connections with top professionals. Students will have exclusive access to Michigan alumni and industry leaders, all eager to share their insights. In past years, participants have visited Related Companies, Vornado Realty Trust, Blackstone, HIG, and more. This year’s lineup is still being finalized, but expect an equally impressive group of companies! Plus, this year will feature a special alumni event with over 150 of Michigan’s best and brightest in real estate. The Weiser Center for Real Estate recently hosted a memorable Exclusive Evening with Ambassador Ronald Weiser, where a select group of students had the extraordinary opportunity to dine with him at his Ann Arbor residence. The evening was filled with vibrant conversation as Ambassador Weiser, founder of McKinley Companies, shared insights about his beginnings in the real estate industry, his remarkable philanthropic journey, and even some lively Michigan football talk! Students asked thought-provoking questions about investing in multifamily properties, securing investors, and the importance of treating employees well. Ambassador Weiser emphasized the value of meaningful relationships, reminding students to treat everyone you meet with respect, especially your peers - because one could be your future partner! Adding to the inspiration, Ambassador Weiser spoke about his son, Marc Weiser, founder of RPM Ventures, and their shared commitment to innovation and leadership in their respective industries.
