What’s the ideal HMI screen size? It depends... In our latest poll, nearly half of you chose 15” as the top pick if cost weren’t a factor. The feedback was just as insightful as the results: Smaller projects? 7” works fine. Larger applications with more data? 15” strikes the right balance between usability and screen real estate. Go bigger, and it can actually slow things down. The real takeaway? It’s not just about size. It’s about context. How do your operators interact with the HMI, how fast can they make decisions, and how well does your interface support the real-time process?

Kicking off something new for the next generation of automation talent 🦿 We’re excited to share a few moments from setting up our first training session at Garden City Community College in Kansas. This is a big step in our effort to make industrial automation more accessible and hands-on for the next generation. This session marks the debut of a brand new curriculum integrating the Arduino Opta PLC with a Weintek USA, Inc. HMI, designed to help students bridge the gap between prototyping and real-world control systems. A huge thank you to Rob Ponsonby, MBA from Arduino and Yuriy Drubinskiy from Garden City Community College for their support and collaboration.
