    Weigel's is thrilled to partner with UT Rec Sports as the presenting sponsor for their first Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk, happening this spring on May 3rd! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ The course will take participants from the TRECS to Sutherland, offering a beautiful route to celebrate fitness, community, and fun. We’re proud to support this event, which embodies the spirit of bringing people together and staying active. Stay tuned for more details as registration opens in February. Let’s make this inaugural event a day to remember!

    In February, we will be opening registration for our first Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk on May 3rd. Partnering with Weigels Inc., our course will span from the TRECS to Sutherland.     This holiday season, Weigel’s team participated in a meaningful tribute at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, where over 64,000 veterans’ graves were adorned with memorial wreaths. By contributing to Wreaths Across Chattanooga and helping to place the wreaths, our team ensured that each fallen hero’s sacrifice was acknowledged during a time of year focused on family, community, and gratitude. “Our veterans have given us so much, and it’s a privilege to take this moment to reflect on their sacrifices,” said Kurt Weigel. “By placing these wreaths, we hope to honor their memory and inspire others to remember the values of service and courage that unite us as a community.” This effort reflects Weigel’s broader mission of strengthening communities and fostering genuine connections. By honoring those who served, we reinforce our commitment to values such as respect, unity, and compassionate service—principles that guide our work both inside and outside our stores. During a season that reminds us of the importance of togetherness and gratitude, we are humbled to stand alongside our neighbors in remembering the legacy of our veterans. If you feel inspired to get involved, consider volunteering with local veteran support organizations, reaching out to families of service members, or participating in similar wreath-laying projects in your area.
