Through a partnership with Opportunity Now, we have high school interns Laniya and Caleb learning about how WeGo connects people to their community as well as about how the many departments in this agency are all connected. We hope they are having a great summer!

Had a great time speaking with Contractors and Consultants at the BNA - Business Taking Off. event. We were able to share information on upcoming projects, and how to do business with WeGo with over 300 attendees.

WeGo Public Transit in Nashville, TN recently honored its first Black female bus driver by renaming its central bus station downtown. The Elizabeth Duff Transit Center now bears the name of the woman who was also the agency’s first female driver. She started as a bus operator in 1974 and drove more than 30 years, including several years when there were no female restrooms for drivers. She passed away in 2021, but her son keeps the family tradition alive as a WeGo driver for the last 18 years. #BlackHistoryMonth?bit.ly/42JAjJf
