Two of our consultants are helping our partner org build sustainable livelihoods in rural communities across India! Meet our partner GramUrja Foundation, a social impact org, working towards empowering rural communities in the country since 2020. They have been working in over 30 villages to uplift communities through their education, livelihood, and governance initiatives. Their aim is to help them reach their full potential by building local leaders and bridging gaps in resources and infrastructure. To further their mission of enabling more livelihoods, GramUrja is tapping into the commercial potential of wild custard apples harvested by rural self-help groups (SHGs). These fruits could provide stable incomes to rural communities engaged in the production and marketing of it, but the lack of a structured sales strategy and reliable market chain has limited their reach. That’s where we come in! Our pro bono consultants Nithin Santhosh and Fatema Poonawala, are leading this project. They’ll work on building a business plan, identifying target markets, and creating a supply chain strategy to unlock livelihood opportunities for these SHGs. Two of our consultants are helping our partner build a stronger foundation for empowering marginalized communities in Odisha. Meet our partner Youth for Social Development (YSD)- a development org working to improve the lives of underprivileged communities in Odisha. YSD focuses on marginalized groups and works to empower them through advocacy, training, and social protection programs. To date, they have impacted 12,000+ individuals, allowing them to access a better quality of life. As their impact grows, YSD needs a streamlined data management system for their 12 Community Learning and Support Centers (CLSCs). These centers play an important role in delivering education and community programs, but managing data efficiently has become a challenge. That’s where we come in! Our pro bono consultants, Abhishek Sehgal (a Senior Risk Analyst with 3+ years of experience) and Dr. Greeshma Sharma (a Project Consultant with 12+ years of experience) are leading this project. They’re designing a system to manage student and community data effectively, making sure that YSD can monitor their impact and scale their efforts more effectively. Managing volunteer data can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to! Just a few simple considerations, and you can keep everything more efficient. Swipe through to find 3 easy ways you can get organized and save time- so that you focus more on your mission and less on the admin. For example, we helped Bachpan Save The Innocence- an NGO advocating against child sexual abuse, set up volunteer data systems that simplified tracking and automated repetitive tasks. Our skilled volunteers Akshita Saxena and Sujay Patel, helped them use platforms like Airtable, where they could manage info, send reminders, capture attendance, etc., ultimately saving them hours and helping their volunteers feel more connected to them and their mission. If you’re looking to improve your processes too, reach out to us through the link in the comments. Our community of skilled volunteers is ready to help you get started!

Three of our consultants are helping our partner amplify nature conservation efforts across the country. Meet our partner Naturefuture- an organization dedicated to supporting grassroots conservation NGOs across India. Run by the EarthFuture Foundation, Nature Future empowers these orgs with the funding, resources, and ultimately capacity they need to drive impactful, community-centered conservation. To further their vision of building sustainable, nature-driven communities, they want to connect with more funders and stakeholders, and that’s where we come in! We’re working together on a project to develop a comprehensive pitch deck that easily communicates their mission, programs, and measurable impact. Our pro bono consultants, Chinmay R. (a Decision Analyst with 5+ years of experience), MANICHANDANA BAJJURI (a Decision Analyst with 4+ years of experience) and Siddhant Nair (a Manager Consultant with 2+ years of experience), are leading this project. Together, they’ll be helping bring Nature Future’s work to life and help them in securing relevant support for their initiatives. Interested in creating impact through projects like this? Two of our consultants are helping our partner make government schemes more accessible for rural communities across India Meet our partner GramUrja Foundation, an NGO working towards empowering rural communities in the country since 2020. They have been working in over 30 villages to uplift communities through their education, livelihood, and governance initiatives. Their aim is to help them reach their full potential by building local leaders and bridging gaps in resources and infrastructure. Now, GramUrja wants to develop a digital platform that makes accessing government schemes simpler for these rural citizens. Through this project, these households will be able to gain information on eligibility for various schemes, get guidance on required documents, and ultimately enjoy easier access to crucial resources. To bring this idea to life, they need a Product Requirement Document to map out every detail of the project. And that’s where we come in! Our pro bono consultants Anis Manjhi (a Product Lead with 5+ years of experience) and Aysha Rashid (a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience) are leading this project. They’ll be developing a detailed PRD, product roadmap, and grant application materials, allowing them to set the foundation for their digital journey! The digital space is crowded, and nonprofits are getting lost- your skills could help them cut through the noise with just 2-3 hours a week. Our pro bono consultants are doing exactly that for a nonprofit that’s uplifting marginalized communities across 120 villages in Rajasthan. And whose current digital presence is not at all reflective of the scope or impact of its initiatives! Our volunteers are: >> Auditing their social media channels to identify what’s working (and what’s not!) >> Outlining a tailored strategy that is aligned with the NGO’s mission and audience >> Designing ready-to-use templates and a content calendar to keep their messaging consistent and impactful. We’re looking for more social media experts and strategists to amplify the impact for other nonprofits just like this! If you've got the skills and a couple of hours a week to make a difference, we’d love to have you on board. If this sounds like a fit for you, connect with us through the links in the comments! If not, you can always help us reach those who will be able to add value. #WeDoGood #Volunteering #ProBonoConsulting #Hiring #Skills #SocialMediaMarketing #Auditing

In the impact space, who you know often matters as much as what you do. Networking isn’t just a “nice-to-have”, it can open doors, and help you make a bigger difference. It is more than just swapping business cards- it’s building relationships! Here’s Why Networking Matters for NGOs: >> Collaboration Opportunities: Ever met an org with a mission that complements yours? Partnerships and collaborations can help you pool resources, reach more people, and make a bigger impact together. >> Learn from Each Other: Hit a roadblock? Chances are, another nonprofit has been there, too. Networking connects you with other orgs who’ve tackled similar issues and can share what worked (and what didn’t). >> Build Community Trust: When you’re known in your community, people are more likely to trust and support your programs. And that credibility can directly translate to more volunteers, more funds, and more long-term supporters. Finding that space to connect with others in the impact sector can make all the difference. That’s why communities like our WeDoGood NGO Community exist- to make it easier for nonprofits to come together, share, and learn from one another. If you are looking for a collaborative space just like that, where you can learn alongside people who are as passionate about impact as you are, join the relevant channel links listed in the comments! #WeDoGood #NGO #NonProfit WeDoGood #Community #NGOCommunity

When nonprofits face big challenges, they’re often forced to choose between quick fixes for a more urgent resolve or investing in sustainable, long-term solutions. It’s a constant balancing act. But does it really have to be one or the other? >> Quick Fixes: Sometimes, a quick fix is exactly what you need to stay afloat. They’re quick to show results, tackle urgent needs, and make an impact right away. Think launching a targeted social media ad to address a donor engagement gap or setting up a basic tracking system to manage a sudden influx of volunteers. >> Sustainable Solutions: On the other hand, sustainable solutions are where long-term impact lives. They don’t just solve issues for now, they build solid foundations that can support your nonprofit’s mission over time. For instance, developing a consistent social media strategy calendar to build year-round awareness, or setting up CRM to manage stakeholder data for the longer run. >> Can’t You Have Both?? Why choose between quick and sustainable when you need both? We believe that nonprofits deserve access to support that’s responsive yet sustainable.? And that’s exactly why we came up with our FexiSupport Model. You get access to fractional experts- think of them as your nonprofit’s part-time, highly-skilled team members in areas like marketing, tech, HR, and more. They will give your org the flexibility to address immediate needs while building the groundwork for sustainable growth. It’s about providing the right expertise at the right time, for as long as it’s needed, without the commitment of full-time staff. If you are looking to explore how you can achieve this balance for your org, simply let us know through the link in the comments! WeDoGood #FlexiSupport #Impact #Growth #NGO #NonProfit
