In 2022 WEBIT Services, Inc. officially became a certified Employee-Owned company. It was the first step in a bigger plan to help close the income inequality gap in the United States. To achieve this plan, we must be a world-class organization that makes a big difference in the lives of our employees, who in turn make a big difference for the clients we serve. From there, we want to inspire, guide, and teach other organizations how to become employee-owned or establish perpetual purpose trusts. The more organizations that share equity with their employees, the smaller the income inequality gap will become. Employee ownership will not fix a bad culture and is certainly not a short-term solution. Seeing results requires time and careful planning. Think how much better things would be if more businesses shared their success with the people who are helping to create it.
