At last week’s #WebexOne conference, Cisco’s rapid transformation and the impressive comeback of its #collaboration business were evident. At the event,?Cisco showcased industry-leading #innovation, growing market momentum, and a differentiated #AI vision Jeetu Patel, Cisco’s EVP & Chief Product Officer, summed it up well in his LinkedIn post after the event—“Four years ago, this business was in decline…the NPS score for Webex was an embarrassing score that hovered around 20…today, this business is in growth mode, reliability is off the charts, and the NPS score is close to 70.” Cisco’s collaboration business is winning in a highly competitive market, evident from its performance, incl. double-digit growth in orders for collab products in the last qtr, a fast-growing installed base of 16M+ #calling users and 100M+ Collab devices, and 75% gr in Webex #contactcenter seats in just last 12 mo. ? A summary of?my takeaways (more details in my blog below): -Cisco announced many impressive new products that enhance its collaboration portfolio. But what truly sets it apart is the integration of these products with full-stack observability powered by ThousandEyes and its multi-layered security framework, which extends from network infrastructure to individual apps/devices. This unparalleled integration creates a comprehensive solution that few in the industry can match. -Last year, after the WebexOne event, I had said, “Webex's innovation is ahead of the market by 6-12 months”. The announcements this year reaffirmed the company’s commitment to winning through #AI-led #innovation.?A big difference this year, though, was that we heard not only about innovation velocity but also about “innovation with purpose” that adds real measurable value to customers. -Cisco devices and Webex Suite are getting supercharged with impressive new features. This year, accelerated momentum for its #video #meetingroom devices has led to?market share growth. -#Sustainability is front and center for Cisco. Its commitment to applying circular design principles and setting aggressive targets for each part of its broad portfolio is industry-leading. I'm thankful for my time on stage with Espen L?berg and Milos Hadzi-Stevic from adidas. Another highlight for me was my participation in the Women in Tech panel. It was empowering to be in a packed room of inspiring women who are breaking barriers and making big strides toward a more diverse and inclusive future.
