?Put Allyship into Real Practice ? On The Bridgespan Group's podcast, Cheryl Dorsey, President of Echoing Green, and Bridgespan Co-Founder Jeff Bradach discuss the evolving role of allyship in advancing racial equity. They emphasize that authentic allyship demands intentional and sustained effort, especially amid current challenges to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. To practice genuine allyship, individuals and organizations can: - Educate Themselves: Deepen understanding of systemic oppression and the true history of marginalized communities. - Engage in Difficult Conversations: Address and challenge harmful narratives and biases within their circles. - Commit to Long-Term Action: Support equity-focused initiatives consistently, beyond moments of heightened awareness. By embracing true allyship, we can collectively work towards a more equitable future. https://lnkd.in/eMDjwsg9 #Allyship #RacialEquity #WeavingImpact #SocialImpact #DEI

$290B or $5 trillionits more than a statistic, its a call to action. McKinsey & Company reports that bridging the racial wealth gap could unlock $290B each year, and economists Dana M Peterson & Catherine L Mann, in a widely cited study for Citi, estimate up to $5 trillion in five years. Our CEO, Pamela Roussos, reminds us that none of this is possible without authentic collaboration. During the Aspen Ideas Festival, shared by Emma Kegler, I learned how inclusive dialogue can spark real solutions. Leaders from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, moderated by Johana Surez, joined racial healing practitionersMonica Haslip, ?Vicky Stott, and Rabbi Jonah Dov Pesnerto highlight the transformative power of honest conversations. If youre curious about how collective impact worksand why these trillions truly matterI encourage you to explore our latest newsletter. We break down the data, share lessons from the field, and provide practical steps for getting involved.
