FIGS scrubs are revolutionizing the medical apparel industry through its use of ridiculously soft and technical fabrics that are tailored to perfection. FIGS proprietary fabric is wrinkle resistant, moisture wicking and utilizes four-way stretch. Through our customer-centric, vertically integrated e-commerce platform, FIGS has transformed the way medical professionals shop. Through our Threads for Threads initiative, we've donated scrubs all over the world to those who need it — because everyone deserves to wear FIGS.

We announced 2024 Q2 Earnings earnings today. As our CEO Trina Spear said: "Our strong second quarter performance shows that our investments are paying off. We exceeded our outlook and saw continued momentum in the business, including a positive year-over-year repeat frequency trend. Our strategy of combining pioneering product innovation with powerful top of funnel marketing is resonating. We look forward to continuing our momentum into the second half of the year, spurred by the biggest and most exciting campaign we have ever done – our first-of-its-kind partnership outfitting the USA Medical Team at the #Paris2024 Olympic Games. For the first time, the more than 250 healthcare professionals who form the Team USA Medical Team have a uniform. Figs, a direct-to-consumer medical apparel brand—and the first company led by two female cofounders to go public—partnered with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) to break another barrier. “This is the first time ever that a medical team has been outfitted for any country for the Olympic Games,” FIGS cofounder and CEO Trina Spear tells Fortune. “It’s very much about something that speaks to our overall mission and values as a company from day one: putting health care professionals in the spotlight that they deserve. Usually they’re behind the scenes, but not anymore. This is really about showcasing the people who are serving all of us, serving humanity, and in this case, serving athletes.” Read more: bit.ly/3LwzN9m

It’s clear — healthcare professionals need to be protected. Nobody knows the issues they are facing better than the real people in healthcare. ?? In April, FIGS brought 16 healthcare workers to Washington D.C. to meet with congressional and senate offices on both sides of the aisle and tell their stories first hand, raise awareness, and bring the voices of healthcare to life. At the end of May, we officially submitted our request to both the House and Senate to secure funding for funding for four critical areas: - $45 million for the Lorna Breen Act - $1.51 billion for healthcare workforce development - Funding for a tracking program to enhance healthcare providers' wellbeing - Support for work-based learning programs through the Departments of Education and Labor for the next generation of healthcare professionals This is a significant step towards supporting those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. But our advocacy doesn’t end there. In January, we celebrated a huge milestone: the opening of the FIGS Operating Theater and ICU in partnership with Tiba Foundation and the Matibabu Foundation. Thank you to our founders Heather Hasson and Trina Spear who have worked tirelessly to make this multi-year project a reality, and to Meg Whitman (US Ambassador to Kenya) — without your support, this would not have been possible! We'll never stop fighting for all healthcare professionals to have access to the mental health support they need. That's why FIGS proudly supports legislation introduced yesterday by U.S. Senators Tim Kaine and Todd Young and U.S. Representatives Jen Kiggans, Susan (Ellis) Wild, Buddy Carter, and Debbie Dingell to renew federal funding to create a safer and more supportive working environment for healthcare professionals. Alongside our longtime partners, the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes' Foundation, FIGS has worked towards this introduction on behalf of every healthcare professional suffering from burnout, moral injury, or unsafe work environments. Our work is just beginning as we turn to passing this bill and all the solutions contained in our Awesome Humans Bill platform. There is nothing more important than this effort, and we will not accept failure. Join us and learn more at the FIGS Advocacy Hub. https://lnkd.in/gcyxbne9
