We have listened to the customers, our buyers and sellers. Our agents tell us what support they need in order to best serve their buyers and sellers…which is why we have decided to step away from the franchise model and return to our roots as an independent brokerage. Following rules dictated by markets outside of our area, the forced adoption of tools we did not choose or manage, marketing, financial and business model restrictions that come with being a franchise was causing noise. That noise was getting in the way of our ability to listen to and take action on behalf of those who matter the most to us…our agents, and our customers here in east Tennessee. This time next week, we will officially be Wallace Real Estate, entering the space as the largest independent brokerage headquartered in east Tennessee. We hold on to the fact that we will remain a full-service brokerage, as that is the core of who we are. But in seven days, you will see a company that is now better able to listen in order to take precise action. You will see a company that can make its own decisions about tools, services and models that work best for our people. You will see a company that focuses on value, on relationships, on support, and most of all, on listening. You will see a company that is 100% focused on all that is uniquely east Tennessee.
