Success in the NVG! ?? Operator Equinor along with partners V?r Energi and INPEX Idemitsu Norge, have made a new oil and gas discovery in PL090. The two wells drilled, 35/11-30 S and 35/11-30 A, have encountered both oil and gas in the Upper Jurassic Sognefjord and Middle Jurassic Fensfjord formations, with good reservoir properties. Viridien’s high-resolution dual-azimuth seismic data continues to support the success in the Northern North Sea and highlights further exploration opportunities in the Greater Fram area.
