This week, our trail crew had the opportunity to hone their chainsaw skills with a course taught by The Game of Logging, widely acknowledged as the premier chainsaw safety and productivity training program in the country. Learning advanced techniques and maximizing safety is crucial to maintaining our trails in the best possible way, plus they had a great time! . As we head into a busy fall weekend and week ahead, we'd like to give a huge shout-out and THANK YOU to our incredible TAP volunteers for stepping up over the past several weeks (and months!) to get our trails into top shape. From individuals working on their own segments, to community-led workdays, our trails are grateful for the love as we work on rolling out a restructured Trail Adoption Program. . We'll be reviewing applications for community sector leaders throughout the coming weeks and will be making decisions later in October. For now, know that we truly appreciate everyone's hard work. We have an incredible community, and Trailblazers is looking forward to an exciting future with TAP as we continue our efforts into 2025!

One of the major components of creating safe active transportation infrastructure is ensuring that our first responders are experienced in navigating speed management measures that are effective in increasing road safety.
